We went to the Memorial Day parade in Hamilton this morning and had a good time. I love small country parades! Aiden loved seeing all of the firetrucks, horses, kids, trucks, cars, tractors, etc. Gavin missed most of it since he slept a lot of the time :)

Congratulations!
The best family picture we were able to get last night...
Aiden and his cousin Austin...
Great-Grandma with Gavin and Aiden...Jeff and Angie...
Jeff and Angie with all of the nieces and nephews...
One of my favorite... Gavin spit his pacifier out of his mouth and it went flying... check out their reactions :)
The ceremony...
Cheers...
Instead of smashing the cake on each other, they smashed it on each of their nieces and nephews faces! Some of them weren't quite sure what to think of it...
Aiden danced for about 2 hours straight at the reception (he LOVES to dance) and didn't get to bed until just after 11:00 last night. Despite only having a 40 minute nap yesterday and all of the fun and activity, he still woke up at 6:30 this morning - UGH!!!!

Fire Station
Making fire engine noises...
Gavin is starting to get more interactive, "talking" (cooing), and smiling more. So fun to watch him change!

"Walking" Sparky
Later that evening I decided to go on a walk with just the boys. About 1/2 mile into the walk I noticed that Aiden was really quiet so I peeked in the Burley and this is what I saw...
Trying to walk Sparky must have really worn Aiden out. Since both boys were sleeping I was able to walk even further than I normally would have!

Garage Sales!
Spring time means the start of garage sales! Although I don't do it that much, I do like to go to garage sales because I love a good deal. Grandma Linda and I took Aiden and Gavin garage saleing with us on Wednesday. We went to a large subdivision that had a bunch of houses all doing garage sales at the same time - my kind of garage sale... where I can go to a lot of places all at the same time. Since it was rather chilly - in the 50's with a cold wind - I took the Burley along to keep the kiddos out of the wind and keep them a bit warmer. I put a snowsuit on Gavin to keep him toasty warm. Gavin slept almost the entire two and a half hours while Aiden screamed and hollered almost the entire time - my boys are such opposites. Aiden was all upset because I wouldn't let him get out and walk (it was too cold and it would have taken us at least twice as long) and because he wanted every toy he saw and mommy wouldn't give in to him. We got some funny and dirty looks from other people when they saw/heard Aiden screaming but oh well. If they only knew who Aiden was they (maybe) would have understood. Here's some pics of Gavin all ready to go shopping!
